It’s very difficult coming up with funds, what should be taking a month to do, it’s taken 3 years or more to purchase 50 bibles for a congregation in Africa. God Bless!!!

10 reasons 4th commandment left out

10 reasons 4th commandment left out

(Acts 15:24)

1.      Neither God nor Christ made it a part of the new covenant. If they had it would be somewhere in the New Testament as the other 9 are.

2.      Of all the words of Jesus on earth only 4 references are made of the Sabbath (Matthew 12:8; 24:20; Mark 2:27-28; Luke 6:5). He merely taught that it was lawful to do good on this day and that no day is lord of man. He did not once command any particular observance of any definite day.

3.      The old Jewish Sabbath was part of the contract between God and Israel and a token and sign of that covenant (Exodus 20:8-11; 31:13-18; Ezekiel 20:12-20). The contract was not made with men before Moses (Dt. 5:2-3), or with Gentiles and he church (Romans 2:14; Dt. 4:7-10). The Sabbath was not for them.

4.      The 4th commandment was the only one of the ten that was a ceremonial, not a moral law. Its sole purpose was to commemorate the deliverance from Egyptian bondage when Israel had no rest (Dt. 5:15). It was only a type of future and eternal rest (Colossians 2:14-17; Hebrews 4:1-11; 10:1) It was natural for it to be left out of the new contract when the reality of rest came of which it was a shadow (Matthew 11:28-29; Colossians 2:14-17). The physical and spiritual benefits of a rest day can be realized on any other day as well as on Saturday

5.      The 4th commandment was the only one that could degenerate into a mere form without affecting the morals of men. All others concern moral obligations of men. It is the only one of the ten that could be done away with and still leave a moral law for men.

6.      God foretold and promised He would do away with the old Jewish Sabbath (Hosea 2:11; Isaiah 1:10-15)

7.      The prophesy predicted that God would abolish the old and make a new covenant (Isaiah 42:6; 49:8; 59:21; Jeremiah 31:31-40; 32:37-44; Ezekiel 36:24-38). That this referred to the New Testament is clear in Romans 11:25-29; Hebrews8:8-12; 10:16-18; Matthew 26:28

8.      In no passage is it stated that men should keep the Jewish Sabbath to commemorate the old creation rest. It was to commemorate deliverance from Egypt (Deuteronomy 5:15). This was what they were to “remember” (Exodus 20:8)

9.      It is the only commandment that could be and has been broken without breaking a moral law, Israel marched that day (Numbers 33:3; Lev 23:5-11; Joshua 6:12-16); set up the tabernacle (Exodus 40:1, 17 with Lev 23:5-11; search Canaan (Numbers 13:25); and made war (1 Kings 20:29;2 Kings 3:9; Josh 6:12-16). David and others broke it and were blameless (Matthew 12:2-5)

10.  The New Testament permits Christians to keep any day as he Sabbath, it being one of the doubtful things not covered by commandment in the new covenant (Romans 14:1-13; Galatians 4:9-11; Colossians 2:14-17). The day early Christians observed, not by commandment but by choice, was the first day, Sunday (John 20:1, 19;20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:2)

8 MARKS OF ILLEGAL PENTECOSTALISM

It should be illegal to claim to be a Pentecostal Church or Pentecostal individual without bearing the marks of Pentecost. Here are 8 marks of illegal Pentecostals:

1. They Do Not Embrace Speaking in Tongues

If you do not actively pray in tongues or are ashamed of the baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire, you should not claim to be Pentecostal. Pentecostal church services and individuals invite the Holy Spirit, not quench and grieve Him.

2. They Do Not Pray For Divine Healing

If you do not actively seek divine healing or resist signs, wonders, and miracles, you should not claim to be Pentecostal. Pentecostal Churches and individuals cultivate the miraculous on a daily basis.

3. There Isn't Any Anointed Preaching

If you are not sitting under the preaching of God's word that is full of unction and the power of God, you should not say you attend a Pentecostal church.

4. The Prayer Is Weak

Azusa Street was birthed through the travail and intercession of Frank Bartleman. Soul travail and deep groans mark Pentecostal praying and church services.

5. Entertainment Worship Rules

If you are sitting under worship that's routine and can never leave the words on a screen, you are not listening to Pentecostal worship. If you attend a church where the worship is predictable and timed every Sunday, that church is not truly Pentecostal.

6. Evangelism and Missions is Ignored

If you are attending a church where fiery soul winning and massive evangelism is not being preached, you are not attending a Pentecostal Church. The power that Pentecostals walk in is so that they can WITNESS.

7. The Gifts of the Holy Spirit are Dead

If the only time the gifts of the Holy Spirit can operate is when the pastor takes the microphone, you are not attending a Pentecostal Church. Pentecostals flow in the gifts of the Spirit in power and authority.

8. The Call For Holiness is Absent

If you are attending a church where there is no preaching on hell, judgment, or sin, that is not a Pentecostal Church. Pentecostals walk in holy and righteous living and make the joy of the Lord their strength.

I'm convinced there is a tremendous revival coming to Pentecostalism. It's time to get back to Azusa Street and stop all the religious madness. Too many Pentecostal Churches have relegated the movement of the Holy Spirit to a sign out by the road. Too many Pentecostal believers have become lukewarm and need a serious spiritual revival. It’s time for a CHANGE!!!

Important Message

February first our ministry team will be coming together to make a decision of handing over the platform to another ministry in London. President and Chief Editor will come together in Brazil and make a video chat with editor of the ministry. If we choose to make this tough decision the ministry name will indeed change. We want to ask for your prayers as we discuss this. We also want to thank those who have supported us for the last 7 years as we proclaimed the Gospel. With the support of so many we our thankful to have a platform of almost 3,000 followers and throughout the years over 5 million people have taken noticed of our ministry throughout the world. If we had that many followers we would indeed not have to make this important decision of whether to continue you on with this ministry. Thank you supporters and may God bless you.
